Thomas Frey, Google’s top-rated futurist speaker, former innovations editor for Futurist Magazine, was also, during an earlier phase of his career, IBM’s most award-winning engineer. After leaving IBM, Frey co-founded the DaVinci institute, a Colorado-based think tank and networking resource focused on anticipating and defining future trends and innovations. Frey released a book, promoted during his world-wide speaking engagements and relied on Sympler to market and sell his book on online channels like Amazon, Google and more.

Supporting a new Amazon store
We leveraged Amazon advertising for book promotion based on past purchase history, interests, and other demographics that would lead to sales interest. Sympler Integrated e-commerce tracking on-site by source product, country, demographic and measured onsite behavior to drive strategy and optimize machine learning for the most optimal book sales.
The results
Digital Advertising:
- We successfully increased clicks and qualified digital ad traffic by 45.4% while decreasing the cost per click by 12.7%.
- In six months, we decreased the cost per acquisition for the organization by 17.2%. Overall, our efforts helped Tom Frey increase their book sales by 198.7%.
